Today we had the opportunity to spend a final day in Nicaragua. We drove to Leon where we got to volcano board!
It was a beautiful hike that culminated with a board ride back down the volcano. We all shared a final lunch with our team from
Praying Pelican and spent some time at the beach. It was a wonderful day to a truly blessed trip and we can’t wait to leave tomorrow knowing we were obedient to all the Lord called us to do while here.

With our last day of service coming to an end we are so excited to say that we have made lasting connections.
We spent the morning and afternoon painting the church. It was exciting to watch the space we have spent all week serving looking new with a fresh coat of paint!
We ended with a goodbye service at night. It was emotional to realize all the connection we had made and that this would be our last day with our new church family. We leave knowing we will miss our brothers and sisters in Christ.
However, we believe that the Lord called us to Nicaragua for a reason and he will continue to water the seeds that were planting. We invite you to keep praying with us as we get ready for an exciting free day tomorrow!

Today was our third day serving in the beautiful city of Matagalpa! We continue to be amazed by the hospitality of the church family we are partnering with.
Today we pick up garbage along the street outside the church and participate in a youth service as well as a church service!
Members of our team had the opportunity to preach, lead worship, and share testimonies. It is encouraging to see our team members continue to step out in faith as they grow into the calling God has for them.
We are growing so close to our host Pastors William and Meylin. They have continued to show us so much kindness as we work together to the amazing community around them.
We look forward to our final day or service tomorrow and believe for the seeds being planted to continue to be watered!

We got the opportunity to do another Vacation Bible School. It was a joy reuniting with the students we had the opportunity to meet yesterday and furthering our bonds. The kids are truly a light and a blessing to us.
We also had the opportunity to deliver more food bags to local families. We got to talk, share stories, and pray over each family.
The hospitality of the local family and church has been such an encouragement to us as we all continue to serve this community together! Tomorrow we will be doing a cleaning project and participating in two services!
Continue to pray for health over our team as we keep marching ahead!

This morning we got the opportunity to deliver food baskets to local homes. During this time we got to know some of the church members and pray for the families!
We also had a VBS with over 70 kids! We made friends, played games, and worshiped.
We ended the day by serving at a local church service. Members of our team got to share testimonies, preach, and lead worship. It was undeniably powerful lifting worship up in two languages but with one goal, to give glory to God.
The Lord has already worked in so many amazing ways and it is just day one!

We have officially arrived at our final destination of Matagalpa Nicaragua. Tonight we landed, had dinner, and settled into our hotel.
Tomorrow we will kick off our food distribution and follow it up in the afternoon with a Vacation Bible School. We are expectant of what God will do through us and invite you to begin praying now for the people we will encounter.

We left early this morning and are beyond excited for all the Lord will do through us on this trip. We have already experienced the Lord’s gracefulness in driving to LAX and navigating the airport. Be praying for our safe travel and a lot of energy as we prepare to hit the ground running tomorrow!
