Thanks for visiting our PC Women’s Page! My name is Joni Oquist and I have the extreme privilege and blessing of leading the women of our faith family. I grew up in a Pastor’s home (and then married a Pastor!) and cannot stress enough the value of being connected to a loving church community. It’s really where we learn to live the life God intended for us through the study of His Word, the development of our spiritual gifts, and the formation of lasting relationships.
Our Bible studies are designed to increase your understanding of scripture through insightful teaching and take-home study. You’ll experience the support and friendship of a loving community of women. No matter where you are in your faith journey, PC Women has a place for you!

Phemom was created in 2012 to encourage the phenomenal moms of our faith community as they raise their kids. Small groups are formed and led by moms of older children. These “Model Moms” listen, share wisdom, and give love and prayer support to each mom in her group. Phemom is a treasured space on every Phemom’s calendar as a time to recharge and be reminded she is not alone.
The fall semester of Phemom will begin on Tuesday morning, September 21 at 9:15am. We will be meeting in our brand new lobby, right next to the PC Kids building. Feel free to arrive early, hand your kids to our loving child care staff, and head over to the lobby. A breakfast buffet and fun friends will be there to greet you!

What They Meant for Evil by Rebecca Deng. An amazing story of how a young girl from the Sudan found peace and purpose in the midst of suffering. A true story about Rebecca, one of the first unaccompanied refugee children to enter the United States in 2000, after South Sudan's second civil war took the lives of most of her family. Rebecca’s unimaginable journey is told with the candor and purity of a child as she recalls fleeing from gunfire, suffering through hunger and strength-sapping illnesses, dodging life-threatening predators-lions, snakes, crocodiles, and soldiers alike-that dogged her footsteps, and grappling with a war that stole her childhood. But God had plans for her and through divine intervention she came to America and found a new life full of joy, hope, and redemption.
Join our lively discussion about this captivating book on Tuesday, October 26 in the Jackie Johnson Room at 6:30pm. See you there!
